Mya (7 weeks old) and her proud parents Julie & Mark Lolik, makes you marvel at new life. So special.

I made it past 2nd treatment, now my hair will be really coming out....the last of my locks for a short period of time. I have realized how many people have breast cancer, oh my. I made a new friend today Mary Batteen, she was super neat and an instructor at NPS for Oceanography, a field my mother once wanted to get into, now my mom is an animal lover in her Colorado homestead.

Feeling okay, up late because slept all day. Body is adjusting to all the meds. Phew.

Thank you hero Megan for your support BFF, you made my time easier. I enjoyed our visit it was special.

All the love continues to pour in, I have several hotel friends who have been calling me Dottie Bella and Bestie Lays, thank you gals for your support to see how I am doing, know I will call you soon dear Dot.

Bye for now, Love you all. Dawn

My brother pays me a visit - unexpected.

What a gift today I received, after 25 years literally he was 13 last time I saw him and me 18 we finally were able to see one another. A wonderful time, short but lovely and very healing for me as I was in pain but needed a nice morning!

Travis you are a wonderful father, friend and just a quality person. I love you dear brother. So now we know we have to make a way next time you hit San Franciso, thank your family today for bringing you to see me, Lily and Uncle Bob.

Here are a few of our pics.

Until we talk again, love and God bless.

Today the oncologist looked and found my ouchies were not anything bad, an ucler in my mouth from the chemo....painful but cureable...and a nasty hemroid that was inflamed, but cureable easily. I already feel better with meds.

Yeah for today was a lovely POC (Piece of Cake day).

Christmas pics.

Wowie where has the time gone? Christmas was a blast. I did have a run in with my chemo though, sores in mouth and a large boil very uncomfortable...but still Lily kept me sane. Everyone was so generous of heart and gifts, each will be thanked personally but publically all were so appreciated.

Gosh, so here are some pics to enjoy. God bless, Happy New Year incoming. We love you all.

Oh and I am blessed my brother is visiting from Arizona on Monday so that is exciting for me. Travis and his family and I get to meet my nephew (Truman) for the first time!

Chemo treatment out the gate.

I see this little face every day cheering me on & my especially supportive Chipper husband of the year, making so much effort to make sure I feel good and am comfortable...thank you love of my lifes!....as have so many people around me. I even got a cheer from several clients, Mary Penney, Gayle Lilves, Juliette Bleecker, SJ Kalian. Kathy Wilmes, Barb Greenhalgh....

Good news! My CT scan, bone scans are all clear of cancer, I get an MRI Monday to check the other breast.

My friends who have reached out; so many thank you. I enjoyed Meredith Park's prayer over me, Gosh I am so fortunate during this time to have all of your support.
Max Flandorfer from Miss, my dearest old friend! Keeps in touch and inspires me with his kind support from afar. Kathy Sierra and family (thanks for the cute Christmas card, we are the dinasours...fond memories of that dance class), Thanks for Pam & Kaz Ajir and their friendship everyday!

My dear cousin Kristy and Marty Gilbert of Tennessee and my Aunt Sue, so supportive in their way and listening and right there for me.

Niece Jennifer getting married next year- Lily as her flower girl...she couldn't be more kind and generous of heart. We are lucky to have her support and she will visit us in Jan. for Lily's turning 5 party.

My parents who live in Colorado reach out as much as they can, thank you.

My Aunt Kris in Michigan wants to come out, bless her heart, she is just right there every second with me.
**********************************************************************************
The chemo is very potent to say the least, I was sick last night....all of the things they try to minimize (nausau meds really are available and help for sure, it was a harsh first night. I know it is working to do it's job.

I have made friends too at the cancer center and wow so many people have this (amazing at all the stories). Some good and some I had to hear the reality..but trying to stay positive as my mom encourages me (Piece of Cake), tommorrow will be a POC day I am planning on it.

My clients have all been so gratious and understanding. I am lucky to have CD support backing fully too which I won't need but it is there, so that gives me extra layer of confidence to serve my important customers.

Well.....I bid you all a great weekend and leading up to Christmas.

My ability to do cards this year was hard, trying still. I have received so many, thank you too.

Big kudo's to my brother-in -law Bobby who has drove us tirelessly around all two weeks now and without a flinch! Thank you we all have benefited, Chip, Lily and I support means so much. Megan and Grandma Susan & Susan P you ROCK!

Lastly; Do mark your calendars, Lily turns 5 Jan. 22nd, her party will be that day at Chuck-E-Cheeses on her real birthday at 12pm.

Dawn's inspiration. (Lily, Chip and family and friends)

Dawn diagnosis cancer.

Dear friends,

As you know I was diagnosed on Mon. 12/6/2010 with breast cancer. I am confident in my oncologist: Dr. Nancy Rubin, Surgeon Dr. Vrelenden. Yeah on that for the best care. I go on Monday Dec. 13th for a port, then will have all week of doing tests (Catscan, MRI, bone scan, BRAC genetic tests, blood work ect.) to prepare me for Friday hope to start chemo. That is good they are working fast to shrink my tumor. It is in my right breast, lymp nodes on right side too, so needing to do chemo first then a possible mastectomy. I am well under way for going with this. My mind is mentally strong.

I have been blessed with support group and lots of love surrounding me from: Susan Grant, Bert Aronson, Chip Aronson, Lily Aronson, Susan Pearson, Megan Beron, Bob Aronson, Aunt Kris Penrose, Dan Rosenzweig (business partners, James Threlkeld and Kelly Newlon have generously stepped up to say they are there for my CD work support!) Relatives: Jan Spillers & Rusty Spillers, Jon & Becky Aronson, Esin Voskay, Opal Whitfil....and so many more this list is long.

Prayers are great, I know that I will be a year running with this but then on to a great rest of my long life.

Thank you to all who have been pouring in to help, cards, e-mails, calls, that is all so great and really helps boost me during this tough period of time.

I will regularly keep posts coming, so please check in weekly as you want to know more on my progress.

Again I can't thank you all enough. Bye for now.
